Maji Moto Hot Springs

Hidden away in the village of Rundugai is a hot spring, just an hour outside of Moshi. At Maji Moto, you can enjoy swimming in the beautiful clear water and explore the surrounding area. You can take a day to go to the hot springs for a chance to have a picnic, go swimming, and relax. If you have more time, go ahead and camp for the night and enjoy a barbeque under the stars.

Day trip on Mt. Kilimanjaro

We know that not everyone has time to climb to Mt. Kilimanjaro’s summit. This is why Bless Africa Tours offers a one-day trip along Marangu route to the first base camp where you can be able to walk around the Maundi Crater. The trek takes you through the rain forest where there is a lot of game to view, including the colobus monkey.

Lake Challa Day Trip

Lake Challa is a crater lake located on the border of Kenya and Tanzania. It is about an hour’s drive from Moshi and is a great location for a day trip or an overnight camp. The hike begins at the rim of the crater, looking down on the beautiful lake. You will hike for 45 minutes through savannah woodlands to the lake. Imagine spending the day swimming in the lake and relaxing on the shore before you head back to the crater walls. During certain times of the year, you can see families of elephants, monkeys, and baboons from the deck, as the drink out of watering holes which are very close to the lake. There is a beautiful campsite at Lake Challa with a campfire, cooking facilities, and a bar.

Arusha National Park

Arusha National park stands 45 minutes outside of Arusha city. It is an easy journey to get there from Moshi or Arusha. The small park offers an incredible variety in both wildlife and landscape. It is quite common to see giraffes, buffalos, elephants, waterbucks, hippos, flamingos, warthogs, zebras, white and black colobus monkey, the blue monkey and various, numerous species of birds due to the rich and fertile forest in Arusha National park.

Coffee Tour and Waterfall Hike on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro

Kilimanjaro. Most of the coffee farms present in Northern Tanzania are small-scale family business. Bless Africa Tours and Safaris gives you the opportunity to visit these farms on the foothills of Kilimanjaro, and to can spend a day learning how coffee is made from experts, speak with local farmers who have dedicated their lives to growing coffee, and enjoy freshly brewed coffee from generations of the best coffee makers. You will have an opportunity to walk through coffee fields and see the ways of the local Chagga people first hand. During the coffee tour, you can take a detour and walk to the magnificent Materuni waterfalls. The Materuni waterfalls are some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Kilimanjaro region. It the weather allows it, you can bring your bathing suit and go for a dip in the cool waterfall pool.
